I used a constant evap value of 0.0001 in/day and was able to match pretty closely the results from v16 and v21.

I found a workaround for you. Give the model a small evaporation rate and you will get the same answer in v21 - this is a bug obviously so we will investigate. The evaporation rate I used was 0.01 inches/day

Thanks for verifying. Unfortunately, the results from v16 are much more realistic and closer to the observations. The results from v21 are very unrealistic.
The impervious fraction is generally small, so I am not sure how much effect would changing…
